It’s always a pleasure to see your vision turn into reality! I wanted to paint this beautiful bird, capturing its vibrancy against a subtle background, yet keeping it interesting. Adding the gold leaf was a nerve wrecking experience, so tricky to handle but managed somehow. Will I try it again, not sure 😂  This painting has lots of techniques incorporated, lots of time, effort and love and I’m so pleased with it.
